This is a purple bouncy ball. I decided to take a photo of this ball because I have had it sense I was young child, so to be able to find it in as good condition as it is meant a lot to me. When taking these photos I had great difficult keeping the ball in one place, with it's sphere shape it would keep rolling around. What I ended up doing was leaning it up against a wall and taking the photo from above so the wall wasn't in the frame.
This is a photo of a collectable statue of a marvel character. I was given this character as well as two other similar ones. These figures mean something to me because I am a big Marvel fan and enjoy any type of memorabilia from them. I choose this figure above the others because of the detail and effort that can be seen. When taking the photo I had a little problem trying to get it stand straight up to be able to take the photo.
This is a photo of the game puck from one of my hockey games. This object means the most to me out of all of the ones I took photos of, because it is my first and currently only game puck from high school hockey. I got this puck from when we played the Saline Hornets, we lost the game 3-2 however my coach thought I made great contributions to the team so I was rewarded this puck. Just like the ball it was difficult to get the puck to stay in one spot with it's cylindrical shape, so I had to take the photos quickly before it rolled away.
This Robot is my brother's that he received for his birthday last year. I decided to take photos of this not because it have a compelling back story but because of it's "humanoid" shape. When taking photos of this it was similar to taking one of human, with it's "looking" straight then taking the photo from the side. However I had to get really close to it for it to give of the size and characteristics of a person.
This is a Photo of my friends water bottle. Just like the robot I took a photo of this not for some compelling backstory on how my grandpa fought in WWII to save this water bottle. Instead I saw this as a challenge to try to make a photo of a water bottle feel compelling. With the photo on the right the mosaic filter helps to make it look interesting, however with the one with no filter I had to use the light and angles to make it seem interesting.
